How we source our data
Nutevio runs on two clearly separated layers. One is factual film data, synchronised from established industry databases. The other is our own writing, scoring and ranking. The two never overwrite each other.
Imported metadata
Titles, release dates, runtimes, certifications, synopses, cast and crew credits, posters, backdrops and trailer links are supplied by The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Artwork and images remain the property of their respective studios and rights holders and are shown for identification and editorial commentary.
Nutevio editorial
The Nutevio Score, Movie DNA, collection rankings, "why it's ranked here" arguments, audience guidance, career analysis and every word of long-form writing are produced by our editors. None of it is imported, and a sync will never modify it.
How often data refreshes
- Continuously — queued imports and refreshes are processed in small batches so new titles appear quickly.
- Daily — records the provider flags as changed are refreshed.
- Weekly — the least recently synced records are revisited so nothing drifts out of date.
- Monthly — a full integrity pass checks for duplicates, repairs relationships and rebuilds library statistics.
Corrections
If a record looks wrong, it is either an upstream metadata issue that will resolve on the next sync, or an editorial call we are happy to defend — or revisit. Either way, tell us.
