The story
What it's about
He is a young man scarred by repeated heartbreak, vowing never to let his heart suffer again. To shield himself, he fills his days with fleeting pleasures, moving from one partner to the next. That is, until he meets her, a woman who begins as a one-night stand but evolves into his Friend with Benefits thanks to their compatibility in bed.
Both are careful to keep their personal live hidden, reveling only selected fragments of their stories. They know the rule of this arrangement: never cross the line, never make it personal. What happens when he decides to pursue something deeper, but she keeps him at arm's length? He learns the hard way that even a relationship meant to be free of emotion, like Friends with Benefits, can leave the heart broken in the most painful of ways.
