The story
What it's about
In this documentary from the Dutch history series Andere Tijden, an extraordinary wartime resistance story is reconstructed. During the Second World War, the deeply religious Bogaard family hid hundreds of Jewish fugitives on their farm in the Haarlemmermeer, many of them children. Through eyewitness accounts and archival material, the film tells how this unlikely refuge operated for years—until a dramatic raid changed everything.
