Italy, 1940. With little money in their pockets and great hopes in their hearts, the Panini family move to the city of Modena with their eight children. Holding them together is their courageous mother, Olga, who keeps them looking ahead, even when their future is uncertain. During the war, Olga takes a leap of faith and buys a small newsstand that becomes their window onto the world. There, the Paninis decide to risk everything and invest in something humble yet democratic: collectible stickers. After failures and sacrifices, but always standing together, they transform a simple idea into a miracle that crosses national borders. With the 1970 World Cup, their iconic stickers and albums become an unstoppable worldwide phenomenon, capturing the imagination of millions.
